We are currently looking for four (4) Labor & Delivery Room Nurses (RN) in Central Texas for contract or PRN positions. We have both day and night positions offering flexibility to the right candidate. Duties:

* Promote general health by providing treatment for and education about various medical conditions

* Provide advice and emotional support to patients and patients' family members

* Record and maintain records of patient medical histories and symptoms, help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results

* Operate medical machinery, administer treatment and medications, and help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation

Pay:



* Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), associate degree in nursing (ADN), or diploma from an accredited school of nursing

* RN license

* Current license in good standing

* TX license or Compact Nursing License

* Strong problem solving and decision making skills, Strong departmental team player

* Good written and verbal communication skills,

* Strong interpersonal skills at an individual and team level, Ability to be flexible, adjust quickly and react positively to change

* Considerable knowledge of principles, practices and current trends in nursing, Positive attitude and good work ethics.
