Facility Description:Early Childhood Intervention is a division within the Texas Department of Assitive and Rehabilitative Services.
ECI services are provided in every Texas county by 60 different local programs. ECI is a system of services and support for families of children, birth to age 3, with developmental delays, medical diagnoses with a high probability of developmental delay of atypical development.
ECI provides screenings, evaluations and assessments to determine service needs at no cost to families. Every ECI enrolled family receives service coordination to help them identify and coordinate needed resources. Other services may include the following: developmental services; speech therapy; physical or occupational therapy; nursing services; nutrition services; social work services; or psychological or counseling services. All services are based on the unique needs of the child and family.
ECI services are provided where the child lives, plays and learns. Service settings could include the child's home, a childcare center or preschool, a relative's home, or other community setting.
ECI services are family centered. Families work together as a team with ECI professionals to plan appropriate services and developmental goals for their child. ECI professionals help the families learn the skills they need to help their children reach their goals.

Position Description:Full time position serving children 0-3 years old in the natural environment incorporating routines based intervention with families.
Position Comments:Bilingual and/or specialty in working with children on the Austism spectrum
Schedule:8:00 - 4:00
Experience Required:Prefer experience, but new graduates will be considered.
Compensation:Daily rate based on experience as compared to other staff.
