My husband and I have been married 20 years, for 25 years he's been paying alimoney to his X wife, they were only married 9 years, no children, he got a divorce in Texas in 1984, and one month later she got a divorce in Columbus Georgia, being that Texas was a non-alimony state at the time. He was in the military and could not go to the Georgia divorce, she also had a jury divorce which is illegal I am told. We need an attorney to get this "modified". We have never had the funds to hire an attorney, and the alimony she takes now is out of his army disability, he's a 20 year veteran of the army, now disabled, we both are. Thank you.
