Summary

In this role you will have a high degree of responsibility working on highly automated drilling rigs around the globe, delivering our unique risk mitigation and problem remediation services for Rig and Drilling Control Systems.


Qualifications

Five years of experience in the consulting profession

Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar

Five years of experience managing software projects in diverse technical environments

Experience with multiple software development methodologies

Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques for software projects: eg, project planning, risk management, issue tracking, configuration management, version control.

Strong communication skills, including writing and technical documentation skills

Experience working in politically challenging environments

Passion for travelling and working on a rotation schedule: 14-28 days offshore or abroad with time off upon returning home


Preferred

Hands-on software development experience

PMP Certification or equivalent

Software Quality Assurance and testing experience

Automation/Control Systems experience

Electrical Engineering experience

Passport with at least 6 months remaining validity

Oil & Gas industry experience, especially upstream and/or offshore
