We are currently working on a search for a Senior Network Administrator for a permanent position in Houston. Our client is a major corporation that offers EXCELLENT benefits.

This position is responsible for Microsoft Windows Server systems analysis, design, implementation and support. Assists in recommending system standards and enforcing IT policy and standards through the organization.

Preferred skills:


Current Microsoft MCSE in Windows Server 2003 or better

Project Management certification

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 experience

IBM Tivoli Storage Manager configuration and operation

Experience in a team leadership role

Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Requirements include:

BS Degree and 5 years of IT experience. Must have advanced experience in the following areas: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard and Enterprise, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007, including Outlook Web Access, Microsoft Active Directory, including user groups, policies and best practices and Server performance monitoring and problem resolution. Must also have strong experience with Network Attached Storage and Storage Area Networks including configuration and maintenance of fault tolerant.
