Why?
I am a young, Houston area event coordinator who recently started leaning more toward the bridal planning side of coordinating. My fiancé and I were planning a very small, intimate wedding for not many more than immediate family. While planning, we found out we were pregnant. Plans were halted when we found out I was experiencing complications with the pregnancy and had to be placed on bed rest. Unfortunately, those complications would lead to premature labor and the devastating loss of our son. In dealing with my grief, I decided the best way for me to begin to heal would be to celebrate all of the good things in life. Project Dream Wedding is part of that attempt. The vision is that this will prove to be a much needed ray of hope for a family recovering from a loss, as well as a message to our community. The message: Celebrate Life, even in difficult times and help those around you to do the same.
