One of my client's in North Houston is looking for a Collections Specialist to join their team on a long term contract.
Skills:
- Strong customer orientation and customer service skills
- Excellent telephone skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and discretion when handling all business
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
- General accounting skills
- Computer proficiency in data entry, internet/intranet, email and Microsoft office (word, excel, access)
- Operate basic office equipment such as fax, copier, and scanner
- Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for collection of assigned accounts
- Respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and proactively resolve
- Handle complex billing issues and resolve discrepancies
- Work with internal/external customers, ensuring needs are met
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Collect and compile data, create reporting/spreadsheets
- Responsible for accurate and timely posting/data entry of billing records, ensuring compliance with company policies
