Applies extensive and<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />comprehensive knowledge of subsea engineering principles and practices to the organization's products and services. Plans, schedules and conducts broad and/or technicallycomplex engineering assignments requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures. Develops plans, evaluates and recommends solutions for difficult problems. Assignments are broadly defined. Work is performed and decisions are made independently. Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors. Travels to project meetings and job sites as necessary. Routinely suggests, justifies and implements improvements and creative solutions for problems.
Duties:
Responsible for subsea systems flow assurance studies through all the phases from vision, conceptual, FEED and detailed design, covering holistically the susbea system, reservoir and its interfaces including all its keycomponents: production trees, jumpers, manifolds, termination structures, pipelines, risers, hydraulic distribution and controls.
- Prepares estimates and proposals for flow assurance studies.
- Compile system requirements and prepares design basis documentation.
- Defines operating & intervention philosophies
- Develops functional specifications and other conceptual documents.
- Developscomputer models for simulation
- Conducts Flow Assurance and Multiphase Dynamics Studies like
- Steady State
- Transient Analysis
- Slugging
Hydrate. Corrosion, Wax, Scale management and remediation.

Requirements:Should have a Bachelor's degree or Masters of Science in Engineering. Should be a recognized expert with<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />comprehensive knowledge in subsea systems, with a well-developed knowledge of general engineering principles and practices. Working knowledge of the organization's technology and knowledge and understanding of how the subsea systems integrates into acomplete project.
Should excel in the use of existing software applications and capable of developing methodologies, algorithms and applications for special problems.
10+ years of related engineering experience.
