Essential Job Duties:
Serving on a team providing worldwide implementation of a new-layered architecture SCADA control system. Setting standards for and deploying automation solutions for oil field production facilities worldwide by providing automation systems consultation and support for instrumentation, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) telecommunications, automation servers, and software for assets domestically and internationally. Providing automation architectural direction for new assets and new projects to ensure business needs are met within the context of a standard automation architecture. Providing technical support of installation and maintenance of surface equipment of wells. Performing Iconics Genesis 32 Human Machine Interface (HMI) development and configuration. Configuring alarms and trends appropriate for oilfield operations. Providing troubleshooting for Microsoft operating systems and HMI. Utilizing OPC servers/clients including Matrikon, Software ToolBox, and Standard Automation.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Electronic & Telecommunication Technology, or related and 6 years experience. Experience with: SCADA telecommunications; HMI application and configuration; OPC server; PLC; and, oilfield related RTUs.
