Description The University of St. Thomas, a private university committed to the liberal arts and to the religious and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education, is seeking an Assistant Director of Scholarships and Financial Aid.


This individual will report to the Dean of Scholarships and Financial Aid. She/he will assist with the administration of the Financial Aid module of the PeopleSoft system and the other various computer systems used within the office. She/he will also be responsible for the electronic transmission and receipt of information relating to various Financial Aid programs, the training of staff on the various computer systems, the supervision of staff and the distribution of information on various Financial Aid programs available to students. Additional duties and responsibilities will be reflected in the job description for this position.


This position require a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of financial aid experience (five years preferred), excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to contribute and promote a strong team environment. Some weekend and evening work required during peak periods. Knowledge of PeopleSoft is a definite plus. Send, fax or e-mail resume and cover letter to:
