UPDATE 05/15/09: My foster mom is so proud of me! I have matured so much these last couple of months. I know how to sit and stay and am walking very well on a leash. I still pull when I am on the trail of something like a rabbit or bird. I am always happy and really love to play! I am very content to run up and down the stairs throwing my toys up and catching them. My foster mom says that I will make a wonderful companion with someone who just wants to give me love and attention. I definitely need exercise and discipline like Ceasar Milan says! Then I will lap up all your love! I just received my annual exam where I got my 3 year rabies & distemper/parvo vaccines. I am also heartworm negative and currently weigh 57 lbs. I hope to meet you very soon! UPDATE 07/19/08: I am over my heartworm treatment and living life to the fullest. Most of the time I walk wonderfully on a lead but when I smell something like a rabbit or armadillo watch out! I listen to my foster mom's directions and really just want to please her. She thinks I was never allowed to be a puppy and play so now I am just getting all of that out of my system. I am always happy and my foster mom just can't resist my smile! I am completely housebroken and crate trained. I get along with other dogs and definitely will put up with other puppies playing on me and with me! My favorite treat is a cow hoof and boy do I love to chew on them! I really just want a permanent home and family where I can settle in and just be me! Come take a look at me soon! I was in dire need of rescuing and took it upon myself to let someone know! I jumped right into my rescuer's car and wouldn't get out! Luckily, my rescuer took me straight to the vet where they found that I had an infected uterus and would have died without surgery. I am recovering now with a great prognosis. I am heartworm positive and will undergo treatment once I have fully recovered from my surgery. I am a love bug who just wants to be right by your side. I am completely crate trained and housebroken. I am a large girl weighing in at 60 lbs. My new foster mom will update this with new pics and more info as she gets to know me!
