UPDATE 6/1/09: I now weigh 47 lbs and am doing wonderfully! My foster mom says that I am the sweetest most innocent dog she has ever met. I am now getting to go out in the backyard and socialize with a couple of other dogs. I run around and get each toy and run around with it in my mouth. I am one happy, happy boy! I love to give kisses and my foster mom says it is like I was never allowed to ever have fun so now I am! I would really like to find a wonderful person who will love and take care of me and continue to show me that humans as a whole a wonderful! Please come take a look at me soon! I would love to meet you! I was found by a kind person hiding at the entrance to a busy intersection and subdivision. My foster mom was called to help rescue me. She says that I am in the worst shape she has ever seen. I currently weigh 40 lbs but you can see every bone in my body. I had been attacked and was most likely used as a bait dog by some horrible people. Despite the wounds, starvation, and scars I am a sweetie. I lick my foster families hand once in awhile and so far have been a quiet and very well behaved dog. I am currently eating well, taking my meds wonderfully, and am just resting. I won't be available for adoption for another couple of months. Check back for updates and my progress in recovering from my starvation and wounds.
