Collie - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Chance
Description
We got Chance on 3/9/09. He is approximately 9 months old and weighs 45 lbs. as of 3/9/09. He has been in a outside pen most of his life with very little human contact. He is very leery of humans since no one has spent any time with him at all. He needs a lot of socialization and some training. He is a very sweet boy but he is so afraid of people that he won't even walk on a leash and needs to be carried. He is heart worm negative, thank goodness. We have gotten him some private training and socialization. He is in a foster home, as of 4/409 and you wouldn't even know he is the same dog. He knows his name and comes when called wagging his tail and so happy. He plays very well with the other collies and is a fantastic boy. He has a great personality and it is coming out more every day. He is one sweet sweet boy and loves attention but doesn't demand it like some dogs do. UPDATE: Chance has been very sick with Distemper but he has survived dispite all odds. He will be neutered soon and then he should be available for adoption. Chance will make someone a wonderful pet. Chance is the happiest of all of the 12 dogs at our house. He is a beautiful boy with the sweetest face and fantastic personality. I am still amazed on how he has changed from the time we got him to now. It looks like he is always smiling.
