UPDATE 05/07/09: Well, I a truly exceeded my weight expectations. I currently weigh 65.1 lbs and it looks like I might be 70 - 75 lbs full grown. I am not overweight but just a thick guy. Guess that is the boxer in me! My foster mom says that at home I am a complete goof! I love all dogs big or small and am a great companion to her 4 mo old rat terrier. While chewing my bone, she will get up on my head and lick or chew on my ears! I get along famously with my foster mom's cat as well. I am still a tad nervous to go riding in the car or being at Petsmart and kind of act like a big baby. My foster mom is working on getting my social skills outside the house to be like they are at home. I really hope to find a wonderful family who will love and take care of me forever! UPDATE 2/22/09: I have truly gone through a huge growth spurt!! I now weigh 45 lbs. So, it looks like I will probably be right on track to weigh about 60 lbs full grown. I really am such a sweet, sweet young man whose foster mom adores him! The vet has cleared me for adoption since I am done with my medicine and I am over the skin ailment. I do have fur that feels like velvet. I really would like to have another dog as a companion in my new home. I love to play with my two sisters and also with my toys. My foster mom says that I am going to make someone an awesome dog! UPDATE 01/13/09: I am so enjoying my new foster home! I follow my foster mom everywhere she goes. She says that I am truly her shadow. I am very laid back and as you can see from my pictures love taking naps! I am now completely housebroken and crate trained. I currently weigh 26.8 lbs. I am being treated for a skin infection which I am taking medicine for and which should be cleared up in the next couple of weeks. I am looking forward to getting my very own family who will love and pamper all the days of my life! Hope to see you soon! UPDATE 12/12/08: My foster mom says that I am really coming out of my shell. She says that I am stumped as to how to jump up on the bed and can't figure out how my sister did it before me! I currently weigh in at 19 lbs and so everyone thinks I will be a medium sized dog probably weighing around 60 lbs. I like everyone and really enjoy one on one time with my foster mom! Come see me soon! I was born to a feral pack of dogs. My foster mom took me and my sister in so that we could be safe from the outside world. She is teaching us to trust humans and learn about love. We are both pretty scared right now but are starting to perk up and act like puppies. She says that I have a very slow and lazy walk and love to stretch out like a cat when I first get up. I am crate training to help with my housebreaking as well. I love toys and other dogs. I am looking for someone with patience who will spend time with me and help me gain my trust back.
