Basset Hound - Medium - Baby - Female - Dog - Daphne

Daphne is a beautiful tricolored female basset mix puppy who, along with her mom and 5 littermates, was pulled from the kill shelter just in time. Each one of the puppies was quite ill, suffering from intestinal parasites and flea infestations so severe that the puppies had become anemic. Poor babies! But all of that changed once these sweet hounds made it to their loving foster homes where they received the care and attention they so desperately needed.Daphne is a spunky, fun-loving little puppy. She delights in playing with her brother, Dudley, and would be tickled pink if someone adopted them together. Daphne also loves to snuggle with her humans for a nap, and then it's play time again! Like all puppies, Daphne will require an adopter who is willing to work with her on basic obedience and behavior training. She will need daily activity and lots of attention so any applicant should give consideration to whether he/she has the time to devote to a puppy. Above all else, Daphne needs a loving home where she will be cherished and adored for her entire life. In return you will receive all of her love and devotion. ** Please note that no adoption will be finalized until Daphne has been spayed (at the rescue's expense). Thus, the adopter may foster his/her own puppy for a brief period until she is old enough to spay.
