Landscaping Construction Foreman

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager Foreman of Landscaping, you will work closely with other Foremen and their respective crews to prepare and grade terrain, apply fertilizers, seed and sod lawns, plant and transplant plants, shrubs and trees and set up and use manual and power-operated equipment.

Working in a safe and timely manner, you will be required to wear a uniform, which is provided by the company. Weather conditions do fluctuate in this role, so the ability to adapt accordingly is essential. You will also perform work ranging from light to very heavy, exerting 20 to 100 pounds of force frequently including reaching, handling, digging, climbing, crouching, kneeling, talking and hearing.

Hours: Monday through Friday at 7:00 am to finish, unless otherwise advised.
Qualifications:
· Ability to write and speak fluently in English
· 3-5 years experience in landscaping/horticulture
· Knowledge of steel edge installation
· Experience in maintenance
· Valid drivers license, with the ability to drive a truck with a trailer
· Ability to pass drug screening and background check
· Familiarity with landscape blueprints
· 2+ years of supervisory experience in this field

Preferred:
· Knowledge of irrigation controllers
· Ability to perform simple repairs
· Bilingual English/Spanish
