A 595 bed tertiary regional referral center, offering a comprehensive array of medical services. The Heart Vascular Hospital provides nationally recognized cardiac care and has been rated #1 in Houston for overall cardiac services. In addition we offer a Level III NICU, new Pediatric ER and a Pediatric ICU, the only PICU in Southeast Houston area.

Requirements

RHIA/RHIT/CCS or eligible, or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience

1-2 years of in-patient coding experience in an acute care facility using ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 preferred.
