We have a great opportunity for a mid-level medical biller/collections representative with one of our most respected Healthcare clients located in the Houston/Medical Center area.


Medical Billing/Collections Associate


This position will assist in managing as well as perform billing and collections duties for assigned clients.


Qualifications:


Must possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of medical billing/collections, appeals processing, CPT coding, electronic monitoring of claims and posting of receipts, etc.


Specific experience in insurance follow-up and medical claims appeals.


Must be familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial/private insurance procedures.


Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the medical billing field.


Must possess strong computer skills.


CPC - Certified Professional Coder or CPS - Certified Coding Specialist Certificate and Bachelor's Degree preferred.
