We have a great opportunity for a mid-level DATA ANALYST with one of our most respected clients located in the Downtown Houston area.


Description:

Handle day-to-day usage data acquisition needs for North American Retail Electric Markets.

Respond to usage data inquiries from other teams within Company

Resolve usage data exceptions that occur in the system based upon established business processes.

Maintain a central repository for all usage and ancillary data for North American Retail Electric Markets in support of pricing, billing, supply forecasting, supply origination, and sales

Understand, extract, and document business rules for customer usage data acquisition and clean-up in all active North American Retail Electricity Markets

Work with respective vendors and other third parties in order to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data received

Ensure consistent data is distributed for each service account to various stakeholder groups within the business

Communicate and troubleshoot data issues to vendors, third parties and Utilities, and ISO/RTOs

Identify areas of improvement and develop/implement quick turnaround technical solutions, as appropriate.



SKILLS:

Advanced Excel experience in addition to knowledge of SQL and Access Databases a must.


Salary:

$20-23/hr DOE
