Job Description
This position is responsible for the accounting operations of a $150 MM international company to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, GAAP compliance, FAR/CAS requirements/compliance, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the companys reported financial results.



Requirements:

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Consolidated financial records

2. Management of audits

3. Account and bank reconciliations

4. Issue timely and complete financial statements and management reporting

5. Maintain the chart of accounts

6. Manage outsourced accounting related functions

7. Manage the accounting staff

8. Provide financial analyses as needed

9. Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

10. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in accounting, 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. CPA/ MBA,. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant.
